Project – the aim you have
We are looking for a Senior Back-end Data/Analytics Developer (Python) to join one of our USA Clients, a start-up working on an exciting climate change project. You will be part of a dynamic team building an AI-powered analytics and data platform to help reduce the carbon footprint of industrial manufacturing. Amazing, right? Your work will focus on our back-end data and analytics stack, and you will be responsible for building a range of data services and analytics modules, from exploratory prototypes to robust, hardened production implementations. Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- + 8 years of software engineering experience
- + 2 years of generalist Python development experience
- + 1 year of experience with building and operating Python-based data pipelines, locally and/or in a cloud environment
- Familiarity and/or experience with Python data and/or analytics libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SimPy, Xarray, Plotly
- You are independent, analytical, adaptable, enjoy learning and excel at building designs that balance velocity, flexibility, and robustness
- Experience with distributed data pipeline processing in AWS (nice to have)
- Experience with data-focused API design (nice to have)
- Experience with ML toolkits/models (nice to have)
- Experience setting up scalable development processes for data and analytics-based systems (CI/CD, testing, etc) (nice to have)
