The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for government clients and is responsible for overall client satisfaction and retention. This person will consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within Phillips Federal Division to ensure quality. In addition, the Account Manager builds relationships with internal team members (Product Managers, Customer Advocate and Contract Administrator) to develop new and repeat business opportunities.
The person we seek must have:
- The ability to create, manage, and forever develop the key sales and project support from start to finish in the assigned territory.
- Manage all activities related to Federal Division’s sales operations in my territory, including providing Legendary Customer Service and seeking new opportunities to improve our division’s performance.
- Be a key resource to Phillips Corp. - Federal Div. customers, by understanding the Federal Government's systems of Machine Tool Procurement.
- Must be able to travel 60% of the time throughout the assigned territory.
Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $100,000.00 and $125,000.00 annually. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.
