We are looking for a VFX Coordinator to be based in our office at Alphaville, SP.
This role supports the Manager, VFX across a variety of duties spanning all projects in Brazil. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a
strong emphasis on organization This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, effective communication, and able to exercise good judgment and initiative.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the VFX Manager supporting the strategy and operations of the VFX team
- Support and operationalize the VFX strategy concerning talents, vendors, methodologies, and workflows assembled toward the artistic and technical needs of Netflix shows
- Lead the VFX review process with the VFX Manager and the Creative Team
- Track the progress of shows, maintaining the VFX work up to date
- Ownership over teams' and projects' documentation, meeting notes, folder management, name convention of media and folders, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a VFX Coordinator on TV/Film or Animation projects.
- Bilingual in both English and Portuguese
- Potential for immediate international travel
- Working knowledge of Google Apps, ShotGrid, Ftrack or similar tools
