Job Title: Web Article Formatter
Location: Fully Remote – Anywhere in the U.S. (Contract Position)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our digital content production team as a contract Web Article Formatter. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our online content across a portfolio of diverse niche websites – from pet companion and tech to dating & relationships and health & beauty care.
We are looking for a hands-on self-starter to support our rapidly scaling production pipeline. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in sourcing images and formatting articles for digital publishing. We will train candidates on how to use our proprietary content management system as well as Shopify.
In this position, you will help publish blog articles across a portfolio of websites and create all blog posts for our e-commerce website via Shopify. We provide the content and access to premium stock photo services.
Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring all formatting guidelines and standards are met and adding licensed, royalty-free images to enhance the visual appeal of our articles prior to publication.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Select images to meet specific project requirements and visual standards.
- Format images for digital publishing, ensuring high-quality, resolution, and appropriate file formats.
- Work with a variety of platforms, including Adobe Stock and Shutterstock, to obtain necessary visual assets.
- Utilize our proprietary content management system to upload and format images for online publications.
- Create visually appealing blog posts within Shopify, adhering to brand guidelines and SEO best practices. (The text content is already provided.)
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure images align with the overall messaging and goals of each project.
- Ensure compliance with intellectual property rights, such as the inclusion of attributions as needed, to prevent copyright infringement.
